This informative, entertaining program surveys the wide-ranging world of careers in science. Interview conducted at the National Youth Science Camp add a personal touch, as students and presenters share fascinating stories about their goals, research, and work. Additional interviews with science professionals offer students a look at the diverse group of men and women working in science today. This program also describes aptitude, skills, education and training, and work activities common to science careers. Some of the fields represented in the program are: aeronautics, astronomy and space exploration, biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, ecology, geology, genetics, mathematics, medicine, physics, and technology-related careers.
