Gates of Jerusalem

Jerusalem - the name means "city of peace." But Jerusalem has never known peace throughout of its history. For 3000 years, Jewish and Christian faithful have called this place home. It is also the third holiest site in the Muslim faith. Now, the story of Jerusalem is told through the eight gates that surround the Old City. Seven of these gates are open to pilgrims, priests and other visitors...but the eighth, the Golden Gate, is still a mystery. All three of the world's great religions expect prophetic, end-time events to happen at the Golden Gate. "The Gates of Jerusalem" will help you understand the past and present of the world's holiest city and how future events there could signal the end times.

Participating in "No Historical Backspin" Antifascist Benefit
Right now, in Holland, such strange bedfellows as hooligans, queers, neo-cons and feminists are forced to unite to fight religious fascism carelessly imported from abroad... In Eastgermany's Saxonia however, events seems to be less confusing: Victim and aggressor still know their place and don't morph or fluctuate in such a politically uncorrect manner as they do in the Netherlands: Fascists are white, their ideology is racial, not religious, and their victims are blameless "foreigners", preferably coloured. (But as there are hardly any of those in Eastern Germany, xenophobia already plays a part in the attitude towards people from the next town..) In places like historical Pirna -the famous town of the Cnaletto painting- a straightforward hatred of anything different rules, ideologically simplistic in comparison to the dutch situation.
