Hondo

Hondo Lane, John Wayne, a U.S. Cavalry dispatch rider, encounters a young woman, Geraldine Page, and her son, living alone in hostile Apache territory in 1874. Part Indian himself. Hondo understands the Apache way and fears for the woman's safety. When he returns to lead her through marauding Indian attacks to safety, he discovers he has fallen in love.
