Racket Squad

This series present an unique collection of televisions early top-cop dramas. The show, which first aired in 1952, features Reed Hadley as "Captain John Braddock", the crime-solving racket (bunko) squad commander. The shows were based on actual case histories (another television first). This unique form of entertainment provided a weekly line-up of true crime stories. Seven tape set, 14 episodes: "Sting of Fate"; "One Angle Too Many"; "The Soft Touch"; "The Salted Mine"; "The Family Tree"; "The Elephant in Stockings"; "A Place for Grandma"; "The Home Wreckers"; "One More Dream"; "The Raccoon Hunt"; "The Dancing Lady"; "The Knockout"; "The Matchmaker"; and "The Condemened Cattle".
