On January 17, 1994, at 4:31 a.m., the largest earthquake to ever strike California, rocked the Los Angeles basin. Concrete crumbled, wood splintered, glass shattered, steel twisted and buildings collapsed. But the spirit of the people of Los Angeles could not be broken. From the rubble, they picked up their lives and started to rebuild. The sounds of the city came back to life. From the sounds of the jack-hammers... to the sound of the Tattoo Machines.
