About Time

This intriguing program explores the meaning of time as seen through the eyes of poets, philosophers and scientists throughout the ages. In addition, it traces the development of time-measuring and time-keeping instruments, taking into account everything from sun dials and calendars to time zones and atomic clocks. Our days are governed by the clock; our lives are divided up into minutes, hours, days, months, and years; and yet, time remains a mystery. Since it is not something we can physically hold or dissect, it is difficult to examine and study. Winner of the Bronze Statuette, 17th Annual Telly Awards.
