Feathered Serpent

Quetzacoatl, "the feathered serpent," has been Mexico's symbol of spiritual practice since ancient times. About 1000 A.D. a Toltec priest and king revived this symbolic religion and led a cultural renaissance. 500 years later, Cortez used the prophecy of Quetzacoatl's return to overcome the Aztecs. His next foretold reappearance coincided with the recent worldwide Harmonic Convergence, when thousands reaffirmed his vision of universal enlightenment.
