Wovoka and the Ghost Dance

This is the true story of a Paiute sheepherder who brought a new religion to the Indians of the Great Plains. During the great solar eclipse on January 1, 1889, "when the sun died." Wovaka also died, went to heaven and spoke with God. God sent him back to earth, he said, to preach a mesage of life to the Indian tribes of America.
