Shock of Futurism

Probably the least known and one of the most important of the early twentieth century Avant-Garde movements, Italian Futurism played a major role in bringing about the decisive innovations of modern art. This features the works of Boccioni, Balla, Carra and Severini, whose ideas and artist principles were followed by most Avant-Garde programs, from Dada to Pop-Art.
