Drawing Landscapes with Pencil and Ink

Tony Couch, artist, educator, and author, shows how easy it is to create professional looking drawings using basic methods with pencil and ink, and you'll be able to incorporate these techniques in your drawings and paintings after viewing this program. Giving special emphasis to values and modeling, he first creates a coastline landscape with pencil. He uses accent line, texture, and shading to draw rocks, trees, weeds and water. Then, to show you how drawing can be used with other media, he demonstrates another landscape by drawing with ink and brush over a loosely painted watercolor wash.
