Reading, Writing, & Revolvers: Coping with Teenage Violence

Violence in and around schools is an increasing concern among parents, school officials, and students. Nevertheless, there is very little information students can access for coping with violent situations. This unmatched program provides students with specific skills they can apply if confronted with violence. Interviews with students, parents, and teachers at urban, suburban, and rural schools provide a firsthand look at the situation from the perspectives of people who cope with school violence on a day-to-day basis.
