When parents talk to their children about sexuality, abstinence, and birth control, those kids are: Less likely to get pregnant (or get their girlfriend pregnant); less likely to get sexually transmitted diseases; may actually wait longer before initiating sexual intercourse; and are more likely to use a reliable and consistent method of birth control.
