Canyon Consort

Join the Paul Winter Consort in the Grand Canyon as they improvise, rehearse and record music that responds to the magic and mystery of the canyon. The film begins with the Consort recording in one of the largest gothic cathedrals in the world, St. John The Divine, in New York City. It concludes with the Consort riding the powerful white rapids while we hear music inspired by the experience - transcendental music that, in Paul's words, "is of the canyon rather than about it."
