Play Conga and Bongo Drums Today

Jurgen Lottmann, professional Latin percussionist, is your instructor. This program is divided into two segments. Section one features the basic techniques for Conga Drum while section two covers Bongo Rhythms and techniques. For Conga you'll learn the following techniques/rhythms: Closed Tone, Open Tone, Slap Technique, Forward-Backward Rotation, Mambo, Bolero, Calypso, Guaguanco. For Bongo Drums, you'll learn: Closed Tone, Slap Technique, Side to Side Rotation, rotating little finger & thumb, edge tone with the fingertips, Mambo, Bolero, Guajiro, & Martillo. Both sections will also introduce you to playing Timing Patterns ranging from Quarter to Sixteenth Notes.
