Making Ballet: With Karen Kain and the National Ballet of CanadaWith an eye for the unexpected and a taste for the theatrical, this feature-length documentary goes behind-the-scenes at the National Ballet of Canada to deconstruct the seemingly magical process of creating a major ballet production. We see the growing rapport between choreographer and dancers, famous set designer Santo Loquasto conceive and execute his brilliant designs, Karen Kain's insights into her character and art; and the final production in which all elements come together in a magnificent, seemingly-effortless production.
