Rogers & Hart's 1936 musical, choreographed by George Balanchine, was the first-ever Broadway show to combine forces with ballet, becoming an instant smash and classic. In 1990 the circle closed when the acclaimed Stuttgart Ballet became the first international ballet company ever to perform a full-length musical. Choreographed by Evita's Larry Fuller, Starring Marcia Haydee, Richard Cragun, Birgit Keil and Randy Diamond.
