Papal Concert: A Musical Offering from the VaticanThe highly acclaimed Gilbert Levine, the Pope's Maestro, leads the Television Italiana (RAI) Symphony Orchestra & Chorus, featuring the renowned choir of the Krakow Philharmonic. Interwoven with the musical selections are highlights of the Vatican's priceless art collection. This concert commemorates the 10th anniversary of Pop John Paul II's pontification. Following the concert, the Pope expresses his gratitude, and wishes all the best for the holiday season. The first Papal concert to be broadcast in the U.S. Hosted by author James Michener.
