Phillip Glass and the Making of Akhnaten

Part of Phillip Glass' popularity derives from the hugh success of his trilogy of operas, the third of which is Akhnaten. Award winning director Michael Blackwood worked with Glass as he prepared for two simultaneous premieres in Stuttgart and Houston to create this cinema verite portrait of an artist at work.
