Edward Abbey: Voice in the Wilderness is a documentary that chronicles the life, words, and ideas of one of the most popular, outspoken advocates for wilderness preservation in the 20th century. Abbey, who died in 1989, is perhaps best known for his books Desert Solitaire and the Monkey Wrench Gang. He is widely credited with inspiring the radical environmental movement in the United States.
