Moving Beyond Auto America

Two of the biggest threats to the environment are the daily assault of the automobile on our air quality and the ecological disasters resulting from oil spills during the transport of the fuel our autos greedily devour. This documentary promotes public involvement in how transportation dollars are spent. It highlights foreign and domestic innovations of transportation systems and includes interviews with national experts. Most importantly, it raises the viewer's awareness of the problems caused by lack of public transportation in the United States and the need to do some serious and innovative planning.
