Alchemy Of Love

This tape brings to life Joseph Campbell's insights into the universal application of myth. Two playlets, one revolving around a contemporary talk show and the other presented as a stylized mythic dance, dramatize the elemental archetypes at work within us. Both are based on the classic love story, which show us the path to personal fulfillment. The hero is separated from his beloved by an evil force, which he must defeat through the use of magical power in order achieve reunion. In the same way, we can overcome inner resistance to growth by contacting our instinctive drives, giving us intuition and strength to help us realize our dreams.
