Coach Dick Hannula breaks down both of these competitive strokes into progressive steps to be used in teaching the strokes. Hannula has elite-class swimmers demonstrate the proper techniques for the arm actions, leg kicks, breathing, etc. He also shows numerous drills to be used in developing these techniques. Extensive use of underwater photography in regular speed, slow motion and stop frame, allows the viewer to see exactly how each stroke should be performed through practice drills.
