Satori

Join students in a Japanese monastery as they silently struggle to attain Satori, the flash of enlightenment that is the spiritual goal of Zen Buddhism. Probing the Japanese approach to life, nature and work, the camera follows Shintoist and Buddhist street festivals, visits a school of business management, a Shinto ceremony inside factory walls and raises provocative questions about our own society.
