Bill of Rights, Bill of Responsibility

Bill Maher, of television's "Politically Incorrect", hosts this witty inquiry into the meaning of the Constitution of the United States in our lives today. Drawing examples from current events and pop culture, Maher clearly illustrates that the Constitution is "a living document". Beginning with a brief history and overview of the Constitution, and then focusing on the Bill of Rights, this program demonstrates that history is a continuous process that happens every day all around us. A variety of archival footage is used throughout to provide historical context and familiar contemporary references.
