Nature of Biology: An Introduction

This helps answer common questions about biology. Emphasizing six major themes that characterize the study of living thins, the program takes a lively, unique approach to introducing students to biology. A rich collection of images from natural world reinforces the sense of wonder and excitement involved in studying life science. Interviews with science professionals help students appreciate the impact and value of biology in society. In correlation with Project 2061's "Science For All Americans", the program is organized around these general themes of biology: Diversity of life, Heredity, Cells, Interdependence of life, Flow of matter and energy, and Evolution of life.
