ARC: Across the Atlantic and Transatlantic Rally

Coverage of the 1986 and 1987 Atlantic Rally for Cruisers. Both programs give a perspective on sailing as an international sport by focusing on the people involved, bringing to life their personalities and spirit of adventure. "ARC Across the Atlantic" shows the 1986 ARC race, which all 204 participants completed. "Transatlantic Rally" retraces the course of the 1986 race, which started in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, and finished 2,700 miles later in Bridgetown, Barbados.
