This two-time grand-prize award winning program, part travel documentary and part profile, tells the story of a remarkable seaman, his wife Electra, and their life at sea. "High Seas" begins with Johnson's introduction to the sea aboard the bark Peking in 1929, traces seven of his circumnavigations of the globe aboard Yankee and accompanies Johnson and his wife as they sail the inland waterways of Europe and up the ancient Nile.
