Glenville School Computer GraphicsProduced by art teacher Oliver Sabato and her fifth and sixth grade students in Greenwich CT, shows animated designs created from original computer programming on an Apple II computer. A culmination of a unit designed to teach art, as well as the technical skills needed to be comfortable at the computer, the package includes a 36-page booklet, "An Easy Guide for Creating Computer Graphics in the Elementary Schools." The booklet contains a step-by-step lesson plan for a seven-week unit teaching computer-generated art, graphics and computer programming. It is suggested that the videotape and lesson plan be purchased together. The videotape is used for student motivation, shows creative possibilities and contains no narration.
