Charles Drew

This program tells the story of the pioneering work in blood research by Dr. Charles Drew who successfully implemented the technique of utilizing blood plasma to perform blood transfusions during World War II that saved thousand of lives. The American Red Cross named Dr. Drew to be Director of the Blood Bank Services program. This video reviews his life and brings forward his work that changed medicine forever.
