Common Childhood Injuries

Teaches viewers how to care for minor emergencies and how to prevent serious ones from getting worse before medical help arrives. A two tape set, Tape one covers coping with emergencies; allergic reactions; bites and stings; bone, joint and muscle injuries; and burns. Tape two covers cardiopulmonary arrest; choking; cuts; scrapes; abrasions; drowning; electrical injury; eye injury; head injury; and poisoning. Young children describe each type of injury bringing warmth and humor to the program. Also provided are practical suggestions for keeping your home safe.
