Fancy Footwork

Through a combination of lectures, clinics and demonstrations, this program addresses Horseowner's concerns regarding hoofcare and shoeing. Includes: Analysis of the foot - external structure, internal structure and function & mechanics; Mechanics of shoeing - evaluating movement, hoof assessment, equipment, preparation of the foot, selecting and forging the shoe, application of the shoe and the finishing process. Also featuring trimming the unshoed horse, preparing a difficult horse and running repairs.
