Coal Miner

At age 32, Eddie Gilmore has spent one-third of his life in the coal mines of Big Stone Gap, Virginia. Come with Eddie, section foreman, at 8:00 in the morning as he and his crew put on their "bankers' suit" - what they call their work clothes-and travel two and one-half miles underground to their destination deep within the black caverns of the mines.
