Holocaust, The
Dubois claims that the undeniable tragedy of the Holocaust, was in fact a victory of the cross, because every triumph over death is a victory of the cross. He says "I believe in redemption according to the teachings of Christ and this tragedy adheres to that redemption." Leibowitz argues, "The Holocaust is the greatest horror in human history; a horror devoid of any meaning or significance. The idea of learning a lesson from the Holocaust does not exist."
