Triumph of Faith

Russian Christians embark on a 120 mile journey to a holy site at the banks of the Great River, stopping along the way to pray in the ruins of churches long destroyed by the intolerant Soviet Empire. The pilgrimage, now in its 615th year, has survived world wars, famine, brutal conditions and political upheaval. It is impossible to watch this pilgrimage and not be moved by the power of faith.
