Along the Pocahontas District: Coal Trains & Time Freights

Travel to southern West Virginia to experience the busy stretch of Norfolk Southern mainline. As we tour the "Pokey" from Williamson to Bluefield, you'll be treated to scenes of heavy coal drags laboring upgrade with Norfolk Southern's newest diesels, and speeding time-freights. Watch mine runs with cabooses working the coal mines, and mainline trains crossing numerous bridges and tunnels and crawling up steep 1.4 percent grades.
