Georgetown Loop Railroad

Sit back and follow the twisting route of Colorado's most serpentine railroad. The Loop makes 2-1/2 complete circles in traveling just one mile as the crow flies...but no crow would fly like this. At one place the railroad make a complete spiral, traveling over itself on a 100 foot high trestle, the Devils' Gate Bridge. Sadly, you almost missed this engineering marvel for it was sold for scrap in the 1930's.
