Tour of the M-10000

In 1934, the Union Pacific Railroad introduced a new streamlined, high speed passenger train in a public relations tour from coast to coast. Millions of visitors toured the M-10000 and marveled at its modern design. Pentrex has carefully restored the original black and white film shot by the Union Pacific Railroad's film department and, in cooperation with the UPRR Historical Society, is proud to bring you this remarkable milestone in the evolution of American railroading. You'll see the M-10000 in action and on display. Still photos show the interior and special materials that promoted the new train. Its a rare opportunity to see railroading history unfold.
