Tower 55

Perhaps the busiest interlocking tower in the western U.S., with an average of over 100 movements in a 24 hour period, was Tower 55, located in Ft. Worth, Texas. Also known as the "Mixmaster", Tower 55 utilized state of the art railroading technology until its closing in 1995.
