Moonwalk Man On The MoonJuly 16, 1969. On a cloudless clear Cape Kennedy, Florida morning Apollo 11, codenamed Columbia lifted off for its far flung destination- The Moon. The three astronauts, making this historical trip were Neil Armstrong, Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin and Michael Collins. Armstrong and Aldrin would break away from lunar orbiting mother ship Columbia, and descend to the Moon's surface in the Lunar Lander named "Eagle". They would be the first men to ever walk on the moon. You are there as NASA footage records this heroic adventure.
