Why Do I Need Reading?

What do a free weekend and a 6th grade book report have in common? If you would ask our five "Why Do I Need Reading?" students, the answer would be absolutely nothing!" Their class is given a weekend book report assignment and the five students have no motivation to start until they experience a mind-boggling "dream." Their dreams quickly turn into nightmares as each one discovers their reading limitations. The storyline shows that without good reading skills, no matter what a student's career choice is, they will be limited to what they can accomplish. Through humor and entertaining vignette, the viewer will learn the importance of reading.
