Applique, Traditional Stained Glass & Shadow Techniques

Applique is the process of stitching one or more layers of fabric to a ground fabric to make pictorial or abstract images. Great for creating unusual clothing, pillows, quilts or wall hangings. You will learn "Hand" applique techniques, (which you can quickly apply to machine applique, if you prefer). Patterns are included for the three projects. You will make a pillow in traditional applique technique, a wallhanging in stained glass technique and sachet in shadow technique.
