Shasta Route

Located in Northern California, near the Oregon border, Southern Pacific's Shasta Route is the only rail artery between California and the Pacific Northwest. This spectacular line passes beneath towering Mount Shasta on the edge of the Cascade Range. Follow the line for 110 miles between Redding and Grass Lake.
