Western Pacific's Feather River Canyon Route
This program gives a look back at the WP's Sierra crossing between the late 1960's and the mid 1970's. Includes a visit to the Oroville Roundhouse where you'll see F-Units moving on the turntable and undergoing service. You'll witness the daily power change ritual of the California Zephyr at the Oroville Station. Inside the canyon you'll see early GE's, Geeps, and Cab Units pulling freight through many of the Canyon's scenic locations including James, Pulga, Virgilia, Keddie Wye, Quincy Junction, Williams Loop and Clio Trestle. Also includes a visit to the High Line.
