Golden Years

Host Tony Thomas takes us back to the Golden Age of the American film, the years from the early Thirties to the late Forties when the movies were the principle means of entertainment. Gary Cooper, James Stewart, Barbara Stanwyck, and Carole Lombard were the ideals of American men and women. Errol Flynn, James Cagney, Bob Hope, Fred Astaire, John Wayne, and Randolph Scott, each had there own persona that symbolized how America saw itself.
