The term "Saturday Matinee" is very much an allusion to the Hollywood past. The dominant item in the matinee was the "B" western which stretched from the early Thirties to the late Forties. Host Tony Thomas takes a nostalgic trip back in time to consider some of the movies and stars who lit up the lives of youngsters in those years.
