Artist Arlene Siegel demonstrates clay sculpture by creating the head of a boy. Siegel shows how to make an armature from items found in a home supply store, and using stoneware clay she then begins building the head, applying layer after layer of clay around the armature. As the head begins to take shape, she gives you an anatomy lesson. The project requires a minimum amount of clay and sculpting tools.
