Part 1: "Techniques" - This contains all the techniques Dietrich utilizes for his work with well and ill elderly. In revealing close up shots, the full length video covers details of his techniques from the "pump handle" to "fluffing". He explains when they should be used and why they work. The video is subdivided into many sections which makes it easier to locate specific phases. Part 2: "Applications" - This section, taped in Seattle, WA at Mount St. Vincent Long-term Health Care facility, shows the applications of the techniques of Part 1 on a number of actual patients. They are suffering from Parkinson's Disease, Stroke (CVA), and poor blood circulation (PVD). This also shows the improvised use of an over-bed table for a seated massage for a patient who had positioning problems.
