Cass Scenic Railroad
Originally built in 1902 this railroad is an authentic preservation of a steam powered mountain logging railroad. The beautiful and high mountains of eastern West Virginia provide plenty of challenge for the railroad's collection of Heisler, Shay and Climax locomotives. Switchbacks and grades of 11 percent provide passengers with thrilling panoramas of mountain scenery.
