Grand Canyon RailwayOriginally opened in 1901 by the Santa Fe Railroad, the 65 mile line was built to make the trip to the canyon as easy as possible and draw visitors to the spectacular sights of the west. Starting in historic Williams, Arizona this wonderful railroad takes passengers on a two-hour trip through pine forests and across small canyons and grassy plains right up to the south rim of the Grand Canyon.
